A big part of maturity is learning how not to harbour unrealistic hopes and expectations of the world and of those around you. See the world as it is,not as you hope it to be. And you will be less disappointed when you find out how fucked up it is. And you’ll be thankful if doesn’t turn out to be utter shit.
